Our under 8s tag rugby program is all about introducing young players to the sport in a fun, safe, and
inclusive environment. We focus on developing basic rugby skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, in line
with the club’s core values. Each session is designed to build confidence, encourage active participation,
and foster a love for the game.
Our experienced coaches ensure that every child feels valued and supported, regardless of their skill
level. We believe that by instilling these values early on, we are helping to create not just better players,
but better people. The U8s age group is a pre-cursor to contact rugby at U9, so its crucial that player
protection, safety, respect for all and good practice is instilled and understood with all players.
