After over a decade in the planning, a frantic 3 months of fundraising, two awards of amazing grants and three months of building work the Change 24 New Changing Room has been completed! We have a huge new changing facility for all our members to enjoy and benefit from. It can also be something that this generation of members, players and donors can be incredibly proud of! We have together built a legacy that will transform our club and allow us to develop more and more players both female and male.

To mark this historic achievement, we will be having the Grand Opening event on 22nd September 2024. The major grant award came from the RWC2025 Impact Programme so it is fitting that the opening is when the Women’s team are playing their home game against Southport.

The new facility will be “open” for all to view from 11.30 – 12.30. Please feel free to go in and have a look around and what has been done. You don’t realise how good this building is until you go inside. So please feel free to browse around and have a good look.

At 13.00 we will have the official ribbon cutting event with opportunities for photos etc.

Following the opening ceremony, we will allow the Women’s team to continue their game preparations and retire to the clubhouse for a light buffet with the presentation of exclusive gifts, rewards and certificates to those who donated so generously and supported the project.

Then at 14.00 we will head back to the stadium to see the Women runout with a guard of honour by the Rubies players and the kick off of the Women’s game against Southport and fingers crossed a win for the Women.
